Why Bernie Kosar Memorabilia Is Valuable to Collectors

Kosar was known for his unorthodox sidearm throwing motion, exceptional football intelligence, and ability to read defenses. He compiled a 53-51-1 record as the Browns' starting quarterback, throwing for 21,904 yards and 116 touchdowns in Cleveland. His supplemental draft selection in 1985, engineered to ensure he landed with his hometown Browns, remains one of the most notable draft maneuvers in NFL history. Kosar also won a Super Bowl ring with the Dallas Cowboys in 1993. For Browns fans, Kosar represents the last great era of Cleveland football before the franchise relocated in 1996.
