Bobby Hull, known as "The Golden Jet," is one of the greatest players in hockey history and a transformative figure in the sport. Hull scored 610 career NHL goals and 303 goals in the World Hockey Association (WHA), giving him 913 professional goals across both leagues. He won the Hart Trophy as NHL MVP twice (1965 and 1966), captured the Art Ross Trophy as the league's leading scorer three times, and led the Blackhawks to the 1961 Stanley Cup championship. His 1966 season, in which he became the first player to score more than 50 goals in a season with 54, shattered one of hockey's most hallowed records.

Hull's jump to the Winnipeg Jets of the WHA in 1972 was one of the most significant events in professional hockey, legitimizing the rival league and forever changing the sport's business landscape. He won two Avco Cup championships with the Jets before returning to the NHL. His impact on the game extends far beyond his statistics.
