Elijah Wood’s Frodo Baggins and Sean Astin’s Samwise Gamgee powered Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings trilogy, which captured 17 Academy Awards across the three films, with The Return of the King sweeping 11 including Best Picture. Their performances shaped modern fantasy cinema, and dual signatures on a 2001 Topps release are highly sought after by film collectors.
