Magic Johnson was a two year star at Michigan State University who helped them win the 1979 National Championship. Magic was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 1979 NCAA Final Four. He then declared for the 1979 NBA Draft where he became the number one overall selection of the LA Lakers. Michael Jordan on the other hand was a three star at the University of North Carolina. As a freshman in 1982, he was the ACC Freshman of the Year and helped his team win the 1982 NCAA National Championship. The two time all American was named ACC Player of the Year in 1984. After his junior year season, Michael declared for the 1984 NBA Draft where he was the third overall selection of the Chicago Bulls.
