This Autographed 2013 Game-Used Miguel Cabrera Maple Bat Co. (SAM) MC1 Model Baseball Bat is a rare and historic piece of Detroit Tigers memorabilia. Personally signed by Miguel Cabrera, this bat includes the inscription "Career Home Run #363" and is authenticated by PSA/DNA with a matching numbered hologram. Cabrera, coming off his historic Triple Crown season, continued his dominance in 2013, winning another American League batting title with a .348 average while finishing second in home runs (44) and RBIs (137). He made history by winning back-to-back MVP Awards, a feat achieved by only legends like Ted Williams, Joe Morgan, and Albert Pujols. This bat was used during two pivotal games:
- On August 25, 2013, Cabrera crushed a two-run home run off Mets pitcher Dillon Gee in the top of the first inning at Citi Field—his 42nd home run of the season and 363rd of his career.
- On September 15, 2013, Cabrera used this bat for the final time in a game against the Kansas City Royals, where it was cracked on a groundout in the 7th inning.
- A visible crack in the upper handle/lower barrel.
- Ball marks, stitch impressions, cleat imprints, and white leather scuffs on the barrel.
- Moderate pine tar coating on the upper handle.
- Handwritten "24" on the knob and barrel end, with a white Maple Leaf sticker affixed.
- PSA/DNA Certification Card & Hologram (AI95424) for Cabrera's signature and inscription.
- MLB Authenticated Hologram (EK788037), confirming the bat’s last game use on September 15, 2013.
